Power off device and put all DIP switchs to \u201cOFF\u201d position. Now you can give power to device. You will see power and busy led is ON together; this shows device is in \u201cSettings Mode\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now connect RS485 to computer and use \u201cModbus Device Manager\u201d application for reading or changing device settings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After making changes you must exit from \u201cSettings Mode\u201d For this set all DIP switchs ON position and reset the power of device.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supported baudrates are 2400, 4800, 9600, 14400, 19200, 28800 and 38400 baud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you dont have RS485 port on your computer you can use USB-RS485 converter devices for this.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Also expert users can use their own Modbus RTU application for making settings. Putting device to settings mode changes some communication parameters temporarly. It makes device modbus address 255 and baudrate 9600 Baud (8Bit, N, 1) for temporarly. During settings mode you can adjust device features with modbus rtu protocol.
